      These PBS race brake pads (8541PR / 1192PR) are for the Renault Clio Mk3 Renaultsports - The Clio RS197 and RS200 with Brembo front calipers. The PBS Pro Race compound is a ceramic graphite material that has great initial bite, excellent control and feel. When up to working temperature these are great for race use. There is also the ProTrack front compound for cars more suited to road use or wet conditions where operating temperatures of the brakes are lower. The rear pad now has two options - the less aggressive ProTrack compound to stop risk of rear brakes locking under hard braking and the ProRace compound for track focused Clios

      The PBS brake pads are a great pad to get started into trackday and racing. These offer excellent value for money as they are cheaper than most other race brake pads. We would say for cars running lots of miles an endurance pad may work better such as the Winmax W5, but give us a call to discuss your specific needs.

      The PBS (Performance Brake Solutions) brakes are a high performance brake pad range suitable for track and race use. These PBS brake pads are designed to operate at high temperatures and provide excellent pedal feel , consistent braking with low dust and great brake disc life. The PBS PRORACE pads have an operating temperature range of 0-800 degrees. These pads give fantastic stopping power for the price. The Prorace range gives great consistency, longevity and bite at both hot and cold temperatures.

      Performance Brake Solutions pads use backing plates with NUCAP permanent bond NRS. NRS’ are hundreds of steel hooks to hold the pad material onto the backing plate, meaning there is massively reduced risk of pad failure

      PBS race brake pads are heat treated to help remove unwanted gases. This means they only need light bedding in. Brake firmly around 10 times from around 90mph slowing to 50mph to get the pads hot and allow the brakes to cool slightly before repeating This will mate the pad and disc surface and help remove any gases from manufacture.

      Reviews compare them to a Carbon Lorraine / Carbotech / Performance Friction pad. The difference being they don't leave the same hole in your wallet each time you need to replace them.
