The Motul RBF700 works at the highest braking temperatures. RBF700 has a high boiling point and is suitable for GT racing cars and vehicles with carbon or ceramic brakes as well as those with limited cooling.

  • Very High Dry Boiling Point

The new Motul RBF700 brake fluid enters in as Motul's highest performing brake fluid and sets itself just above their RBF660 fluid. In terms of performance it is very similar to the AP Racing Radical R4 and is significantly cheaper. It also outperforms the Castrol SRF brake fluid when fresh. Over the course of a two year period the Castrol SRF will eventually start to outperform with its higher wet boiling point but when you understand what this is we think you will move to the Motul! The brake fluid wet boiling point is defined as the temperature brake fluid will begin to boil after it has absorbed 3.7% water by volume. Generally brake fluid will reach this level of water volume after roughly 2 years of service. Race and trackday cars tend to be serviced far more regularly due to the higher braking temperatures the cars experience. Fresher brake fluid will always outperform even the best race brake fluid that's been used significantly.

In summary the Motul RBF700 has a very high dry boiling point of 636.8F (336C) and a great wet boiling point of 401F (205C). The Motul RBF700 race brake fluid will work in all types of hydraulic brake and clutch actuators requiring non-silicone synthetic fluid. Its specially designed to resist extreme temperature generated by racing brakes. For high performance road cars and track cars where braking temperatures are not as extreme use the Motul RBF600 race brake fluid.
