Powerflex Rear Beam mounts - Peugeot 106 Mk2 (12mm bolt)
These Powerflex bushes for the later Peugeot 106 models stop the rear beam from moving under high cornering loads. This gives more presision when driven at the limit as it eliminates any rear steer characteristics.
- • Prolonged tyre life
- • Improved performance
- • Increased safety
- • Greater cost-effectiveness vs oe rubber mounts
- • No special tools are needed
The Powerflex PFR12-109 bushes fit the revised shape phase 2 Peugeot 106. If you have an early Mk1 Peugeot 106 then you need Powerflex PFF12-108 with the smaller bolt holes. There are two compounds to choose from in the Powerflex range. The standard Powerflex Purple compound is rated at 80 shore and it suited towards fast road use. The Powerflex black is 25% stiffer, and roughly 80% stiffer than OEM rubber bushes. The Powerflex Black is suited to track and race cars and is graded at 95 shore.
Powerflex bushes improve your cars' road holding and chassis performance by controlling the amount of unwanted flex in the suspension. This means your suspension is doing what it is supposed to. It means your tyres have greater contact with the road at all times therefore improving safety and performance. Correctly formulated polyurethane bushes from Powerflex are as good if not better at noise, vibration and harshness suppression when compared to the O/E rubber mounts.
