Peugeot 106 - Powerflex Front Wishbone Bush (Front)
Peugeot 106 - Powerflex Front Wishbone Bush (Front)
When cornering, accelerating and braking hard the standard rubber wishbone bushes can flex. This changes the geometry and can affect handling and grip.
The Powerflex wishbone front bushes when combined with the Powerflex rear wishbone bushes reduces any unwanted movement. These are great when combined with the Peugeot 106 Powerflex rear beam bushes.
• Prolonged tyre life
• Improved performance
• Increased safety
• Greater cost-effectiveness vs oe rubber mounts
• No special tools are needed
These Powerflex bushes replace the front wishbone bush of the Peugeot 106 model range, including the Peugeot 106 GTI and 106 Rallye.. There are two compounds to choose from. The standard Powerflex Purple compound is rated at 80 shore and it suited towards fast road use. The Powerflex black is 25% stiffer, and roughly 80% stiffer than OEM rubber bushes. The Powerflex Black is suited to track and race cars and is graded at 95 shore.
Powerflex bushes improve your cars' road holding and chassis performance by controlling the amount of unwanted flex in the suspension. This means your suspension is doing what it is supposed to. It means your tyres have greater contact with the road at all times therefore improving safety and performance. Correctly formulated polyurethane bushes from Powerflex are as good if not better at noise, vibration and harshness suppression when compared to the O/E rubber mounts.
Fitted these to my factory wishbones and eliminated creaking from factory bushes. Bumps are a little bit harder but turn in is greatly improved. Couple these with Powerflex black anti roll bar bushes for a great handling car (Posted on 27 June 2016)
