The Thermo Tec Graphite Black Exhaust insulating wrap increases power and reduces both under bonnet and intake temperatures. By fitting this heat wrap to the exhaust manifold it maintains a hotter exhaust gas temperature. These exhaust gases are less dense and exit the system more efficiently resulting in increased exhaust scavenging.
This asbestos free heat wrap is able to withstand continuous temperatures of up to 2000°F. When properly installed a proprietary coating conducts heat across the wraps surface controlling heat build-up and dissipation, preventing over insulation of a system.
Thermo Tec Graphite Black heat wrap offers the same performance and insulating properties as the Thermo Tec Original exhaust heat wrap, with the addition of a patented high heat colour pigment coating which eliminates the process of coating the heat wrap with high heat coating spray.
The Thermo Tec Graphite heat Wrap is available in widths of either 1 or 2 inches and is 1/16" (1.6mm) thick and comes in 50 foot (15m) rolls.
