Supersprint

Supersprint have been building class leading exhaust systems since 1955. When you purchase a Supersprint exhaust you can see the attention to detail, the quality materials, precise and neat welds rather than crimped seams, and the superb finish. It is obvious that Supersprint produces one of the best exhaust system in the world. You can truly see, feel and hear the quality.

When designing an exhaust, Supersprint treats each application individually to produce the best possible part for the intended use. For example, custom road racing applications require hand made, thin wall stainless steel tubing to produce the highest and most useful power from the lightest exhaust system - for off road use, Supersprint would utilizes heavy gauge steel for resistance against rock and gravel impact.

Supersprints knowledge and attention to detail is not just used on their race exhaust systems. Even the road exhaust systems are researched, designed, dyno tested, and built to insure additional power and provide the end user with an exhaust that is long lasting and constructed to an unrivaled standard. Every component from the exhaust manifold to the backbox is accurately tuned and suited to each particular engine by Supersprint engineers.

Other exhaust manufacturers are happy with larger diameter tubing, restrictive silencer design, increased noise levels and chrome tips to lure customers but Supersprints commitment to performance and quality prevents such an approach. Instead Supersprint design and build each exhaust system around each engine’s performance characteristics.

Exhaust flow rates and velocity are dramatically increased by Supersprint designs while in some exhaust systems still retaining factory OEM diameter tubes. When producing aftermarket exhaust systems it is actually easier to loose horsepower through misuse of larger diameter tubing and badly designed silencers than it is to get a quantitive performance increase.

In order to maximise the performance of an exhaust system there is a critical balance between lower back pressure and flow rate. When Supersprint develops an exhaust system for a new car, hand built prototypes are made and extensively dyno tested, rebuilt and re-tested. Only exhaust modifications that create proven performance in mid-range torque, and top end power increases, qualify for final production. There is no make-do engineering at Supersprint.

For customers building track cars and club racers Supersprint have a range of race exhaust systems available. These systems include motorsport catalytic converters, de-cat pipes and mid pipes with the silencers removed for even more performance while the materials used in the construction make them incredibly lightweight. These exhaust systems carry all gas metering devices just as OEM parts do and can be combined with Supersprints straight center tubes (no silencers) for race car sound and performance. The Supersprint race exhaust systems(Group A) with oversize tubes are recommended exclusively for use on race cars, or road cars equipped with heavily modified engines.
