The Zebo Race Parts Stroker Kit replaces all the main bottom end engine components to increase the engine capacity of the TU5J4 16v engine. The kit comes with a replacement billet Crankshaft, billet rods and forged pistons. Additional machining to the block is need to allow the crankshaft to rotate freely. If choosing a larger than standard bore then these will need to be machined to size to accommodate the larger pistons.
There are three turbo options from ZRP. These are available for either a 78.7mm, 79mm or 80mm bore thickness. Compression is lowered to 9.0:1 and capacity is increased to 1750cc or 1800cc with the 80mm version.
The ZRP normally aspirated versions are available with a 79.5mm or 80mm bore. These are also available with an ultra lightweight crankshaft for those seeking reduced rotational mass and increased acceleration. The compression ratio is 12.5:1 and the displacement is increased to 1800cc
All ZRP stroker kits come with the following:
- ZRP 4340 billet lightweight crankshaft, increasing the stroke to 89mm.
- ZRP 4340 forged steel H-Beam Rods
- ARP2000 fasteners
- Wossner high performance forged pistons (40 CrNiMoA )
- Diamond –like carbon (DLC) wrist pins
- Stainless chrome/Ductile moly top rings
- tapered second ring
- 3-piece oil rings
- Piston clips
- ACL Race Series or Duraglide Series bearings
