The Cat Cams 1321708 camshaft set is designed for fast road and track day use and are a direct replacement for the standard camshafts. This camshaft set is easy to fit using standard timing marks.

The 1321708 camshafts can be used with OE followers, retainers and valve springs as well as the standard inlet manifold, but requires an ECU remap to ensure correct fueling & ignition timing. Cars using these 1321708 camshafts regularly produce over 150bhp, with a good idle and emissions for MOT time. The Cat Cams 1321708 camshaft set is the limit in profile before additional head work is needed. We recommend that once the 1321708 camshafts are fitted you rotate the inlet and exhaust camshaft to make sure the head casting does not foul the camshaft movement. Slight headwork (though this is very rare) may be needed to remove some metal from the head to accomodate this camshaft profile.
