Using your Citroen Saxo on the roads?

The Citroen Saxo is a great car for tuning due to its light chassis and capable engines. For everyday use we recommend the Cat Cams 1321743 camshafts for the Citroen Saxo VTS's 16v engine. These make great power with a remap and require no other modifications to fit. On the Citroen Saxo 8v VTR models the Supersprint manifold and exhaust system can gain up to 15bhp. A good suspension combination for the Citroen Saxo is the Bilstein B8 dampers with the Eibach Sportline springs which gives a low, sporty ride without losing comfort. Also popular are the Apex suspension kits for those on a budget.

The Citroen Saxo is an affordable and capable track and race car with an agile chassis and nimble handling. With a few well chosen modifications you can significantly enhance the performance of the standard car. We supply numerous race teams worldwide from Stock Hatch to Rallying. We recommend using a twin silencer exhaust system setup, for passing trackside noise testing. The lightest twin silencer setup on the market is to combine the Supersprint mid silencer with our KAM Racing backbox. For brake pads use the CL Brakes RC6 compound as these give great braking power and feel with no fade! We recommend using plain brembo brake discs without any drilled holes or grooves for strength and reliability.
