Designed as a profile for everyday driving in all conditions, the Cat Cams 1322701 camshafts produce modest increases in valve lift and duration, in order to strike the right balance between driveability and performance. Cat Cams have placed a great emphasis on ensuring that the standard road friendly idle characteristics are maintained with these camshafts.
The Cat Cams 1322701 camshaft set is designed for fast road and track day use and are a direct replacement for the standard camshafts. This camshaft set is easy to fit using standard timing marks.
The 1322701 camshafts can be used with OE followers, retainers and valve springs as well as the standard inlet manifold, but requires an ECU remap to ensure correct fueling & ignition timing. Cars using these camshafts will have a steady idle and good emissions for MOT time.
